2026 Series Walks

You'll now see above that we're preparing for all 2026 walks, so if you're interested in us using one of your own walks, or simply putting you name in the hat to help organise one, then please talk to one of the committee and we'll always be happy to help.

2025 Series Walks

SUNDAYS:

Our last walk was from The Coach & Horses, Lubenham, was well attended and it was good to be back to an area not often visited by us.

The next series walk will be 28th September from The Crown, Little Staughton. Another visit to this brew pub and restaurant so, as there's limited tables available, if you'd like to eat then it's recommended that you book before the walk, Tel 01234 376260. As usual, two routes will be available: circa 10km and 20km.

Remember, for other normal Sunday events: As usual the desk will open around 09.30 so please do not arrive before then as the location may well have had a late Saturday and neither the venue nor the walk leader will be ready for you. We regret we continue to have to make this request but we have had a couple of complaints from our venues and we really do not wish to alienate them and thereby discourage them from hosting our events.

WEDNESDAYS

The last Wednesday walk of the year was on 20th August 2025 and from The Red Lion, Cranford. Starting at 5.30 - 6.00pm. A great pub, serving good selection of real ale and amazing food, and did not dissapoint.

Our donation to the 2024 - 2025 charity: Glamis Hall was presented by Peter.

Walk Leaders still required.  We still need to extend our group of volunteers to organise a walk or two in 2025 and, not forgetting,we'll be planning soon for 2026! If you would like to help out it would be appreciated and first timers will be fully supported by one of us. For more details please contact our walk co-ordinator Graham Baker using the contact details on the committee page of this website.

2025 Walk Dates. As you will see the dates for our 2025 series are almost complete. The walk leaders and venues are similarly being defined and added to this website, so as soon as venues have been confirmed so please check back regularly for the latest information.
